"The Food Pantry Needs"

The food Pantry is in need of the following items: canned sweet potatoes (yams), spinach, carrots, all types of canned beans, fruits, meats, and creamed soups. Please place your donations in the plastic tubs labeled Food Pantry in the gym. Thank you so much for your generous gifts


"Ministry Position Available"

********************************************************************************************************* CHILD CARE PROVIDER NEEDED - We are in need of a dedicated child care provider during the Sunday and Wednesday evening teaching times. This is a paid position and would start immediately. If interested please call the Church Office - 816-680-3303.

VOLUNTEER NURSERY WORKERS NEEDED -We are in need of more volunteers to serve in the Nursery to 5 years olds during Children's Church starting in July. If you feel led to serve in this ministry, there is a sign up sheet in the foyer or you may contact Linda Duncan through the church office at 816-680-3303.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS - Building and grounds committee is looking for 3-4 reliable people to help with the mowing rotation. If interested please contact Greg McClure or call the Church Office - 816-680-3303.

CHILDRENS MINISTRY - During the first 10 minutes of Sunday School each week, children ages Kindergarten through 2nd grade meet in the gym for a time of music and puppetry that glorifies the lord! We are looking for one or two or even a small team of people to be responsible for this ministry. Please contact Preston Sanders or the Church office @ 816-680-3303.

WMU LOOKING FOR NEW DIRECTOR -This person's responsibilities would be to share information on missions and information from the missions center, as well as gather teaching tools for GA's, RA's, Actteens and Challengers. If you feel led to serve the Lord in this way, we would love to have you. See Angela Allard or Preston for more details.

"CHURCH PICTORIAL DIRECTORY COMING SOON"

Pictures for the directory will be taken at the church between Friday, NOV. 27th, and Saturday, DEC. 5th. Please stop in the foyer and sign up for a time to have your picture taken. Every family participating will receive a free 8x10 photo of their family from LifeTouch, the company creating our directory, as well as a copy of our new directory. There is also a memorial section of the directory (This will cost $50.00 for each memorial.) Volunteers are needed to assist with the photo taking! Contact Brenda Sanders.


"Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes"

Pack, Wrap and send a shoebox containing some of the following items: small toys, stuffed animals, hygiene items (toothbrush, tooth paste, etc.), educational supplies, gloves, scarves and sweets. Boxes need to be brought to the church by Sunday, Nov. 15.


"Shop And Drop For Children"

Sponsored be the Acteens on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Cost for the day is $10 and includes lunch and snacks. Children should bring their shopping lists, gifts cost $3 each and includes gift wrapping. Please sign up in the foyer.

The Acteens are requesting donations to help with their Shop And Drop fund raising event. Items needed include: gift wrapping paper, tape, ribbon, toys, scarves, hats, trinkets, etc. Please put in Red box in foyer. Thank you!


"Men's Events"

The men will have their regular Bible Study this month on Thursday nights at the church starting at 7:00 p.m. The Brotherhood will meet on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m.


"Women's Events"

Women's regular Bible Study this month is on thursday nights at 7:00 p.m.


"M.O.M.S."

M.O.M.S. - Moms On Mission for our Savior is a support-play group for moms with young children that offers play adventures, Christian growth opportunities and fellowship with other Moms.

"Wheels for the Wise"

Are you an older adult that needs transportation to and from a doctor or dentist appointment? Or maybe you need transportation to the grocery store. If this is something you need help with, "Wheels for the Wise" is here to help. If you have any questions or would like to receive this support please contact - Patti Brattin through the church office @ 680-3303.


"CRAFTS FOR CHRIST"

Crafts for Christ is a ministry where you will learn to do crafts not only for your personal enjoyment but also to serve others. We will have a Card Making Class and a Quilting Class to start with. Sign up sheets are in the foyer of the church.

"RA's and GA's News"

RA's and GA's meet every Sunday @ 6:00 PM. RA's is for Boys in grades 1-6, and GA's is for Girls in grades 1 through 6. Come and bring a Friend.

The RA Director is Shawn Barbarick and the GA director is Lynn Burke.


"Mission Friends News"

Mission friends meet every Sunday @ 6:00. Mission Friends is a mission organization of the WMU for Preschoolers through Kindergarten. Contact Lacy Weir or Misti Henry or the church office @ 680-3303 for more information.


"The Food Pantry"

The 4th Sunday of every Month is "Food Pantry Sunday". We will be accepting donations in the church gym for the Strasburg city Food Pantry. The food pantry is located at the Strasburg City Hall. See Connie Allee or Treena Wilt for more information or call the church office @ 680-3303.


"Angel Food Ministries"

Angel Food Ministries is a non profit, non denominational organization that is dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to all communities, they are spreading the Gospel along with the food. This program offers fresh meats, fruits and vegetables and other staples, at an extremely low price. There is no qualifying and anyone can order. Information sheet can be picked up in the foyer.
