A NEW DIRECTION FOR SBC CHURCH GOVERNANCE?
The Pastor and Elder selection committee are now looking at Scriptures for church governance and the different types of church governance models in hopes of determining what they believe is the most Scriptural model. |
If you are currently home schooling or considering this option in the future, you are invited to attend the Strasburg Home Educators Partnership meeting scheduled on June 15th, 2010 at 7:00 PM. This group will meet one evening per month to encourage, educate, and empower women and men choosing to educate their children outside of the traditional public school system. Everyone is welcome and there are no fees to participate. Please contact Emily Decker or the church office to R.S.V.P.
The food Pantry is in need of the following items: canned sweet potatoes (yams), spinach, carrots, all types of canned beans, fruits, meats, and creamed soups. Please place your donations in the plastic tubs labeled Food Pantry in the gym. Thank you so much for your generous gifts!
